Welcome to this year's grand opening gala, concert and dinner at Sølvane Gard .
Tenor Eivind Kandal invites guest artists who will seduce our guests with a broad operatic repertoire of both humor and tragedy.
Tonight's guest artist: Caroline Wettergreen!
Caroline Wettergreen is one of Norway's most sought-after singers. She made her debut at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in 2010, and works regularly at opera houses in Europe. In recent years, she has made her debuts at the Komische Oper Berlin, the Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Glyndebourne Opera Festival. Caroline has studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. In 2018, Caroline received the prestigious Equinor Classical Music Scholarship.
Eivind Kandal is a trained opera singer from the Oslo Opera Academy and the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. He has toured Norway and has had roles at most opera festivals in Norway. Eivind was a soloist with the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in 2018 before moving home to Sølvane…
