CULTURE AND HISTORY
Gloppen is a municipality rich in history and has a strong cultural heritage. The municipality has previously been named the cultural municipality of the year, and Glopparane has not stopped working since then. The village hosts over ten festivals every year, and more are constantly developing. Local food, country, classical music and outdoor activities are just some of the categories you can experience during the festival weeks.
In the village, we have set ourselves high standards for development, quality and value creation. This is clearly reflected in the events that take place here and the actors behind them.
Festivals
Gloppen has a strong tradition of music and outdoor festivals. Around 10 festivals are held each year, all in different genres! There is something for every taste and age.
