Family performance with Sirkus Opplett - Gloppen Music Festival

The quintet Sirkus Opplett performs classical music by Prokofiev, and with a sprinkle of fun surprises, the audience can expect a performance out of the ordinary. We look forward to experiencing classical music as we have never experienced it before!

Sirkus Opplett are study friends who met each other at the Grieg Academy in Bergen.

They tell:

“We stumbled upon Prokofiev’s piece and fell for its playfulness and variations in moods and expressions. Prokofiev originally wrote it for the ballet Trapezium, with clear undertones of the circus world, and this inspired us to use this piece for a children’s show. Over time, the idea of ​​a show with a clown theme grew, and we decided to really mix circus and classical music to entertain and captivate our audience.
