About the event
In a universe that grins in the same direction as Raga Rockers, Dum Dum Boys, Ingenting and Jokke, "Svelene" plays out hellish rock songs, often with deeper messages between the lines, and a distinctive twinkle in their eye. All served with lyrics in the Nordfjord dialect and great sing-along potential.
The band has released seven albums; "Delvis Skya Oppholdsvær", "Live På Fabrikken", "Tegnestiften", "Sanne Episoder", "Håpløst Håpefull", "Fri Fugl" and "Sveiv i gang", in addition to singles, and is constantly working on new material.
Svelene have been the Malakoff Rock Festival's permanent house band for many years, serving up amazing and energetic concerts that are legendary. In recent years, working on new material and a steadier, more varied set of acoustic acts has made Svelene more prepared to play everything from smaller clubs to large festival stages.
At Lauget this Friday there will be an acoustic concert for the first time in this format!
