About the event
The event has become a very popular meeting place for residents and visitors!
Sandanedagane was started in 1978 by local forces after the very successful Nordfjordmønstringa event. At that time, they realized that there was potential to create something bigger – a merchant's day. The Nordfjordmønstringa brought together a lot of people.
Since then, the event has marked the end of summer and the start of a new autumn every year.
