We cannot escape everything that is happening in the world right now, and in these turbulent times we have chosen this year to focus on light and darkness. The theme of war is perhaps more relevant than ever, with room for much reflection and feelings across the spectrum. Saturday's concert is clearly influenced by this, and with the title "What Remained", we would like to show music that was written during and around World War II. The composer Weinberg was one of the few who survived the Holocaust, he himself was Jewish and lost his close family in the concentration camps. As he himself said: "Many of my works are dedicated to the theme of war.…
