On Friday, July 5th, you can experience a magical summer evening with dinner and entertainment at Sølvane Gard .
Tenor Eivind Kandal invites guest artists who will seduce our guests with a broad operatic repertoire of both humor and tragedy. Soprano Lydia Hoen Tjore made her debut at the Norwegian National Opera at the age of 23 in the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni. In 2022, she won the Ingrid Bjoner Prize in the Queen Sonja International Music Competition, and has otherwise performed several major roles both at the Norwegian National Opera and at opera festivals in Italy in recent years. In 2022, she sang the title role of Violetta in La Traviata at Opera Nordfjord! Now she is finally back at Sølvane Gard !
Eivind Kandal is a trained opera singer from the Oslo Academy of Opera and the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. He has toured Norway and has had roles at most opera festivals in Norway. Eivind was a soloist in the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in 2018 before moving home to Sølvane Gard .
