About the event
Tenor Eivind Kandal invites guest artists who will seduce our guests with a broad operatic repertoire of both humor and tragedy.
Tonight's Guest Artists: Margrethe Fredheim and Renate Ekerhovd.
Renate Ekerhovd is a Norwegian soprano (coloratura) from Sotra, known for her silvery voice and roles at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet and the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. She made her debut in 2018 as Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro and is educated at the Oslo National Academy of Opera and the Royal Danish Academy of Opera.
Margrethe Fredheim is a Norwegian opera singer from Sandefjord. She is employed at the Staatstheater Kassel in Germany. Fredheim has won several international awards, including first prize in the Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition in 2020 and first prize in the Hong Kong International Operatic Singing Competition 2018.
Eivind Kandal is a trained opera singer from the Oslo Academy of Opera and the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. He has toured Norway and has had roles at most opera festivals in Norway. Eivind…
