About the event
Gloppen Hotell invites you to a new Knitting Weekend in 2027 – with StrikkeTerje – 50 years, two needles and far too much yarn, February 19-21.
WEEKEND PASS: NOK 245,- incl. coffee break and break snacks on Saturday.
- Dinner and afternoon tea are additional and can be added in the next step of the booking.
Join us on a warm, fun and personal journey through a lifetime of knitting. StrikkeTerje (Terje Tjelle) tells the story of how he, as a 7–8 year old boy, got hooked on two needles – and never got off again. Today, a good 53 years later, he designs mittens, has published a knitting book, gives courses and travels around giving lectures, workshops, courses and sing&knit.
With humor, pictures and stories, he shares experiences about being a man and a knitter, about inspiration, the joy of knitting, traditions, family, friends (and some unfriends), as well as the path to the new book "Warm and colorful mittens on…
