There are many different routes that lead to Haugsvarden, the trip via Tystadstøylen is perhaps the most beautiful.

The hike is marked as an easy hike of 3.4 km one way, and takes approx. 2 hours round trip. There is lush terrain and great views all the way. You can hike most of the year as a hike, bike ride and ski tour in the winter from other starting points, such as Kleivane Ski Center .
