In Gloppen we have been producing local goods for generations. The producers are passionate about good taste, quality and local development. 

In the village you can taste, among other things, fresh cider, velvety goat cheese, tender venison and fresh fruit and berries!

 

Every autumn, the Matamål festival is held in Gloppen. A food festival consisting of courses, events, a market day and food fun! The market day during Matamål has become the largest marketplace for the sale of local food between Ålesund and Bergen, and both locals and visitors come here to buy quality products to take home!

Many of the local producers have their own farm outlets, and you can also get a range of their products at, among others, Gloppen Hotell , Bakar Jon , Lauget Kaffibar and Coop Extra Sandane.
